Our original design evolved from our own necessity handling studs, caring for horses on injury rehabilitation and working retraining problem horses who had learned bad habits like dragging their owners. Twelve years later, our original lariat collection is a now the gold standard for horses in highly competitive environments like eventing and barrel racing, and for those that need extra control like stallions. Spun in small craft batches and waxed, incredible care goes into our components to make sure they are not only effective, but comfortable for the horse. All movement in this design is taken up by the ring - so combined with the firm, but comfortable lariat rope - these styles will give you control, but will not rub hair. All are designed for your horse's safety with breakaway functionality built-in. We offer repair parts and an ongoing mail-in repair service in the rare circumstance where a horse has damaged his halter in a pullback.
